Things are moving at quite a pace. We now have a roof, a floor, some framework and a bit of wall!

After a long career of over 80 years, our rear workshop has finally had to go.  This was originally the main workshop for Hatfields, and over the years has seen a huge variety of machines. It is to be replaced with a new purpose built workshop and MOT facility. We’ll let you know how the build gets on over the next few weeks.

Our French trip this year will be to the Moto GP at Le Mans. We will be getting the overnight ferry from Portsmouth on Saturday night May 14th. Riding down to Le
Mans on Sunday morning (about a 2 hour ride). After the racing, due to the lack of available accomodation in Le Mans, we will be heading back to Caen for the night. This is a great city with a whole host of restaurants and bars. On Monday we will head back to the ferry port at Le Havre, stopping off for lunch at the picturesque port of Honfleur for lunch before boarding the afternoon ferry back to the UK. The ferry costs are approximately £100 including over night cabin, Caen accomodation ranges from £50, MOTO GP tickets vary in price according to seating.
